Oh the children pull at my heart
Outside of Cusco Peru in a town that is pronounced "Sexy Woman" we came across some local women with their llama and their children. I just had to get a picture. I had to pay for the opportunity but it was well worth it!

The one and only Machu Picchu Peru, the acient ruins of the lost Inca civilization.
We arrive at Machu Picchu after the four hour train ride, there are no roads to Machu Picchu. The site left me speechless. Imagine that! Hidden by the thick foliage this "Lost Inca Civilization" was not discovered until 1911. At about 8,000 feet above sea level the 100 acre ruins are nestled high in the Andes Mountains and are frequently obscured by mist.
Both Machu Picchu and Christ the Redeemer were recently voted as one of the
"Seven New Wonders of the Wonder."
