What makes the time go so fast? It doesn’t seem to fly when I am sitting on an airplane flying off to some exciting destination, nor does it seem to go fast when I am driving on a long road trip. It sure doesn’t seem to go fast waiting in lines at the checkout counter when I am shopping.
I think it all boils down to perception. When I am at work when I am very busy time seems to fly. But if I actually have time to think the time seems slower.
In our society we tend to live at a hectic pace so when we are on the run the time “runs” also. So why is it when I am relaxing on the beach, not running around like a crazy person, time still seems to race by?
I guess it all comes down to age, even my boat is called Out of Hours.
