We discussed the release of Global Grandma, It is Better to go Global than Postal, the second book in the travelogue series. During the course of the broadcast interview we also talked about other aspects of my travel experiences and why I began writing.
In the small sound proof glass windowed room with Jeff and his microphone and me with my microphone we conversed casually on air. For some reason I thought I would be nervous but I wasn’t; maybe it was due to Jeff’s relaxed friendly personality or maybe it is just my love of travel that makes it easy for me to talk about it.
The interview went by quickly, seems it was over just as soon as it had started but you know what they say “Time flies when you’re having fun.”
When the interview was over it left me thinking about broadcast. Everyone that knows me knows I love to talk travel. I think I would like to do a radio travel show???
Are there any takers out there??
If you are interested and missed the broadcast it can still be heard at WEOL.com; just go to July 11 on the Jeff Thomas show.
